Featuring Former National Security Adviser Susan E. Rice and Brian Chang
The Nevada Center on Foreign Relations hosted a town hall event on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
Our event featured speeches from two distinguished guests: the Honorable Susan E. Rice, Former National Security Adviser and U.S. Ambassador to the UN, and Brian Chang, Managing Director of ChinaPlus Capital. Ambassador Rice joined us via webcast during the event.
The town hall event was at 4:00 PM at the Thomas and Mack Moot Court Building (at UNLV). Follow this link to get directions and parking information from the UNLV website.

Ambassador Rice and guest speaker, Brian Chang, discuss US-China relations, investments, and more
The first part of the event was a webcast conversation with Ambassador Susan Rice, Former National Security Adviser and President of the National Committee on US-China Relations.
After addressing some of the most important US-China relationship issues, Ambassador Rice answered questions of attendees from town hall meetings held at the same time all over the country.
Following the first part of the event with Ambassador Rice, our guest speaker, Mr. Brian Chang, Managing Director of ChinaPlus Capital, addressed many important practical, political, and economic topics with attendees of our event at UNLV. It was a very interesting and educational discussion. A large part of the conversation focused on US investment in China and vice versa.
Our guest speaker, Mr. Brian Chang, Managing Director of ChinaPlus Capital, poses for a snapshot with NCFR members.
